Jefferson Parish, LA is requesting bids for the expansion of the gas collection system at the Jefferson Parish Sanitary Landfill. The expansion includes the installation of 30 new vertical gas collection wells, header and lateral piping, air supply and condensate discharge piping, condensate sumps, and valves and fittings. This expansion will tie into the existing gas header.
The bid announcement can be accessed through the Parish website:
www.jeffparish.net. Under the "Departments" drop-down menu, select Purchasing Department. on the left column, click on the link to "LaPAC Bid Publishing & Downloads". Finally, follow the link to Expansion of Landfill Gas Collection System, Phase IIIB - Bid No. 50-10931. The announcement will provide instructions to obtain the plans and specifications for the project. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 am, Thursday, February 27. Bids are due at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 20.
