Hello!

First off, I would like to congratulate Kelly Wolf and Leslie Simmons for winning our #WASTECONRocks contest. Thanks for tweeting us and we look forward to seeing you both in Boston!

If you missed our last giveaway and are wondering how you can win with SWANA, I am excited to announce our member exclusive blog contest.

To participate in this contest, login to your MySWANA account and use our cool new blog feature to post reasons on “Why You Should Attend WASTECON.” The blog post with the most comments will win, so get your fellow division members and colleagues to help you out! To vote, just click the "add a comment" link directly below the blog post you'd like to vote for.

Have good memories and experiences at past WASTECONs – Funny stories? New business leads and friendships? Share them with other members and you could win one FREE registration to this year’s event. Post your blog entries by 12p.m. on Sunday, June 13th to be considered eligible.

To help guide you, our very own Director of Education and Marketing, Meri Beth Wojtaszek, helped kick-start the contest by blogging her reasons for you to attend WASTECON this year. You can see her post here.

Official Contest Rules
  • The blog with the most “votes” wins. Comments must contain the word “vote” in them to count.

  • Eligible blog posts must post by midnight June 13, 2010.

  • Winners will be notified via their blog.
If you have any questions, shoot me a note at marketing@swana.org or find me online at any of our social media sites.

Thanks and happy blogging!

Jennifer
