I have worked in consulting engineering for over 25 years, and have had the good fortune to work with great people in many different fields, including structural, electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineering. The majority of my work has been for private companies in support of municipalities, especially cities and counties in Maryland. I am currently a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, and my work is focused on solid waste design engineering, planning, and operations.
I have been a member of SWANA since 2006, at which time I started darkening the door of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Since then, I have been the Legislative Liaison, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, and I am the current Chapter President.
When I’m not talking trash or building landfills, I enjoy playing guitar and singing (I have some great guitars and amps). And when I really need some peace and quiet, I go to Calvert Cliffs on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay and look for fossils.
