T-05.2 – Flow Control of Municipal Solid Waste
T-5.2-Flow-Control-MSW.pdf
Our service engineers have visited many sites around the country as well as talked to many people over the phone on common issues where the flow measurement of landfill gas has been compromised. A couple of things that can be verified before calling in for service and are pretty simple to check in the field are: Flow Meter facing correct direction. Our flow meters all come marked with a flow indication arrow as to the direction of the flow against the meter
I am not sure but I think you are from North or South Carolina and represented a city municipality. We talked about flow control and I have a question for you
Renner, T. This presentation discusses some of the many factors that a manager must consider in order to prevent loss. Topics discussed include the dichotomy of an aging workforce and generation X, and Y, changes in communication and technology and changes in societies’ values....

This finding has provided EPA with the legal basis to proceed with controlling greenhouse gas emissions from both mobile and stationary sources
There are benefits to both services and I am pleased to let you know that Thermal Instrument Co. has been performing both services for a number of years on the thermal mass flow meters that we have manufactured and that have been installed on landfill operations across the United States. Factory Re-calibration When you choose a factory re-calibration there are some advantages, such as complete flow range validation against a NIST traceable calibration method
With the APEX 2.0 down draft evaporation system; leachate from landfills or bio-gas operations is no longer a problem. Total plume control, total control of dry aerosol compound formation .... your shareholder value is protected and your wastewater problem is able to achieve zero discharge!

Because of the complexity and novelty of this issue EPA has developed multiple resources including: General Guidance on application of PSD and Title V to GHG White papers on best available control technologies (BACT) options for a number of specific sources GHG Mitigation Technologies Database In the guidance released EPA does not specify what any specific BACT should be
This presentation discusses the components of landfill gas and covers explosion control measures. The presentation also covers air monitoring and how to measure for dust, gas and vapor emissions
