William (Bill) Perez. I started my Landfill Gas (LFG) career with Getty Synthetic Fuels (GSF) in 1979. I worked my way up the ranks and during my 10 years with the company held positions as warehouse manager, test technician and field construction supervisor, installing and repairing LFG collection systems throughout the U.S. In 1989 I joined Solar Turbines as their LFG recovery manager and was responsible for providing LFG to Solar's five plants in the U.S. In 1992 I joined Pacific Energy and was part of the development of a new subsidiary, Landfill Control Technologies or Landtec. I worked for Landtec developing products and as a regional sales manager until 1995 when I went to work for Organic Waste Technologies (OWT) establishing their Mid-Atlantic office in Richmond, VA. I continued to work for OWT as the company became part of EMCON; EMCON was later purchased by the IT Corporation and eventually became part of The Shaw Group. I left Shaw in 2005 to own and operate my own business in Hawaii. I returned to California and joined Landtec N.A. in 2008. I left Landtec and joined SCS Field Services in 2012.
