How To Become an Open Forum Superstar

MySWANA is another great way for you to network with other solid waste professionals. An "Open Forum Superstar" is someone who contributes to the Open Forum discussion whenever possible and in meaningful ways. In addition to posting to the forum, here’s 3 simple ways to make sure you’re an Open Forum Superstar!

  1. Set Up Your Profile – Put a face to a name!  Editing your profile to reflect your expertise is one of the easiest ways to make connections on MySWANA. Have a LinkedIn account? Then your MySWANA profile is only a click away from being complete. Simply click “Update your information from LinkedIn”, follow the 2 step process and you’re done!

  2. Reply By Email – A new feature to the Daily Discussion Digest email, the “Reply By Email” button at the top of each post allows you to send a responding post to the Forum directly from email.

  3. Spread the Word – Have a colleague struggling to find answers? Help them out by suggesting they flex their SWANA member muscles and post on the Open Forum. The more people that know about the Forum means more potential answers!

Have anything else to add? We’d love to hear it! Post in the comments below about what you think makes a great Open Forum Superstar.
